The Spanish Register of Osteopaths aims to protect the public by ensuring that registered professionals meet rigorous educational standards and quality criteria recognised at European level.

All registered osteopaths have joined the register through one of the following pathways:

  • Full osteopathy training of a minimum of 4,500 hours, completed full-time at institutions recognised in their country of origin.
  • Or holding a prior healthcare qualification and having completed specialised osteopathy training of at least 1,500 hours.

Applications are assessed individually, verifying training and compliance with sector standards.
