Admission as ROE Members
Only osteopathy professionals who meet the academic requirements established by Osteopathy Europe will be admitted as members of the ROE. These requirements are specified in the following two options:
A/
Holding an Osteopathy qualification with a minimum of 4,500 hours of academic training, completed at a school recognised by the relevant national Register.
B/
Holding an Osteopathy qualification with second-cycle training based on a prior healthcare qualification (medicine, physiotherapy, nursing), with a minimum of 1,500 hours of academic training at a school recognised by the relevant national Register.
All applications must include the information specified in the “Membership Application” form. Applications will be independently reviewed by the ROE Admissions Committee and must meet one of the two requirements described above. However, the ROE reserves the right of admission.
The annual fee is €380, which grants the right to be listed as a Registered Member on the ROE website, including professional practice contact details. It also includes Professional Liability Insurance and Legal Defence Insurance. Members may also access, if desired, Income Protection Insurance and other types of insurance at highly competitive rates.
Registration fees are reviewed annually, and any changes must be approved by the General Assembly.
